    Hey, All,

I know the iPhone (since there is no back button) has the swipe to go back gesture built into the interface and most of the apps.

Does Android 8.0 also have this feature in a lot of places? Or does the back button take precedence, so developers don’t focus on the swipe back gesture?

    Thanks!

Only some apps (mostly browsers) do. Since you have the back button, the gesture is quite redundant and could cause accidental backing. Some apps do let you add gesture controls but I think those require root (since they have to work over all apps and always 'sensing').
