Google play app show by itself and small ad on home screen

1.Every once in a while my phone opens google play app page ZMB FREE VIDEO DOWNLOADER . and the phone is slower then usual and sometimes I cant open apps. I think I have a virus.
2. Since problem 1 happens also I have google ad on the middle of the screen. Before I had no ads on screen.
What should I do?
Nexus 6P android 8.

I doubt that's the actual Google Play Store app -- it's more likely to be an ad. You installed some kind of adware, likely alongside some other app. Uninstall apps one by one until it goes away (starting with your most recently installed app).
