Why do emails I send via mobile appear as Encoded Base 64 on laptop ?

Huawei P Smart - EMUI 8.0.0. Emails I compose on the Android Phone App look OK as far as the recipient is concerned, but when I later look at the sent emails on my laptop (using Windows 10) they look like nonsense with strings of unreadable characters and there is reference to Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64. However when I look at the same sent email in e.g Yahoo mail, it looks fine. No recollection of setting this up and no requirement to have this. Is this a phone or windows issue ? Is there a problem ? Can this be removed ?
Many Thanks

Which email app are you using?

If you are sending plan text or HTML emails, there is no reason for the base64 encoding.
The unnecessary base64 encoding may even get your messages flagged as spam.
