I am on an HTC 10 and was just forced to update to Oreo by accidentally hitting the annoying download/install button. Long story short I had to factory reset and configure my phone all over.
Now I am unable to change my wallpaper on the device.
I downloaded an image and I can see that image the download manager.
But when I went to settings to change the wallpaper to that image, it asked me to use Photos to find that image since i don't want to use the few standard ones. However Photos can only "see" photos taken by the camera, or images from my Whatsapp conversation. I am unable to determine how to find the downloaded images so I can select them with Photos to use as the wallpaper.
I already checked app permission for Photos and "Storage" permission is turned on.
I don't understand, last version Photos can see the download folder.
What am I doing wrong?
