Using service in app vs signing in as account in Android. Advantages / disadvantages either way ??

I have the Box and Dropbox apps both on my phone and have signed into them. When I go into "Users & Accounts", Dropbox is listed but Box isn't.

What advantages would there be to adding my Box account here as well?
