Hi all!

We've just released the Android version of our AI based, music generating MusAic app.

MusAicMkII can be used in several ways:

- Use as a never ending jukebox.
- Generate ideas for fast and creative music composing.
- Create your own, absolutely unique ringtones with just a few simple clicks.

The generated music is entirely copyright free, so you can do what ever you want with it - including claiming your own copyright for it!

Check out MusAicMkII at Google Play:

This is quite an achievement. I think most people will not understand how difficult it is to generate music. If you would've combined the 'AI' with knowledge of classical harmony and voice leading, than this app could have been very important. At the moment I hear too much of the same, mainly knowledge of chords, not of harmony. However, for popular music, this is very useful.

Just out of curiosity, are you using a library to generate the music or did you write the AI?

A library and some randomization under a couple of rules would this make possible. There is a so called AI engine that has been used, but the makers of that Api (autophonics) don't know much about classical harmony. It's all popular stuff and that's a pity.
