Hi, i know there are Genymotion, Andy, etc... what's the one you would recommend from your own practice and why?

    Hello,
If you have an intel CPU, the default AVD (Android Virtual Device) in Android studio is good enough for emulation purposes. Genymotion is another good, especially if you don't have an intel CPU.
Advice - it's always better to test the apps you develop on a real android phone directly. some things may work on the emulator but not on an actual device.

How would you run the code on an external device?

Well, honestly , I use the Android emulator included in the study, the free version of Genymotion not convince me , and paid version seems too expensive

You will need to turn on Developer Options in your android settings. In there, you will need to switch USB debugging on. Also install all needed drivers and ADB. You should be able to run your code directly from Eclipse or Android Studio once your phone is connected.

    Hello,

For me, the best Android emulator is GenyMotion.
I have tried others like Andy but they not convinced me.

I think Android Studio emulator is good but unfortunaltly, it does not work for me. I have a black screen when I run it ... :-(. Maybe it is your case ?

    Regards,

Choice of emulator really depends on what you want to accomplish. For an app which doesn't really require Google Play services (and other external requirements), Genymotion is pretty good and fast. However when it comes to replicating things like GPS, etc Genymotion (free version) kind of falls flat.

I'm using Nox currently. It's amazing. It can create multiple instances.
