What is your go-to app for clipboard managing or sending yourself a link?

Hi there,

Title says it all. Sometimes, I need to get a link/note/file from my phone to a computer. I've emailed myself, used Slack, or message a friend and tell them to ignore the message 🙃.

I'm curious what people are using for this scenario. What is the app? What do you like/hate about it? Is it lacking features?

I use Chrome on all of my devices, so saving a bookmark easily syncs to Chrome on all devices. For notes or files, I'll use Google Drive or Google Keep.

Depending on my mood, I do one of the following.

Connect the phone my Windows computer using the USB cable and use Windows File Explorer to copy files to and from the phone.

On my phone I use X-plorer as my file browsing app. It has a web server interface available via wifi so that I can drag-drop files using a web browser on my computer. It also has the nice feature of preserving file dates when transferring files from one "drive" to another.

If I am looking to share small text and links between my phone and computer, I just use Google Keep Notes app.
