    What's a good app for reviews on restaurants pizza joints hotels etc that's gps based. Had poynt but could not put in reviews

    Well, you have a few choices in this area. You have Google Places, Yelp, Zagats, Urban Spoon...etc. Those are a few I've used with great results, except for Zagats...its kinda of a pricey App. Hope that helps.

    Yelp is the only app I need to perform these duties. You can read reviews, see photos and have a pretty descriptive summary of the business.

    Google Places is pretty cool cuz it has updated info. so if a restaurant's food is not as good as it used to be, google places will tell you that

    I use Places. Was using Yelp for awhile but couldn't figure out an advantage of it over Places.

    Places is quite nice now, they really have done a nice job revamping everything. Since it's built in, don't really need an app for that.

    Places works for me. Simple and effective. I use it mostly for restaurants and gas stations.
