Bria Android Edition Mobile Softphone
Bria Android Edition, from CounterPath Corporation, is a mobile softphone that uses a Wi-Fi or 3G connection to make and receive calls. With an intuitive interface, Bria Android Edition facilitates easy and effective communication management and provides deskphone-class calling functionality with the ability to swap between two calls, merge calls and perform attended and unattended transfers. Bria Android Edition also includes advanced security settings and enhanced audio features including G.711, G.722 (HD), GSM, iLBC and an optional G.729 codec.
The latest release of Bria Android Edition (1.1.5) now includes a list of certified VoIP service providers within the client. These pre-configured accounts have been tested against CounterPath?s mobile softphones and are designed to enable users to quickly and easily set up their account and start making calls.
