Evernote definitely has more features (OCR, multiple notebooks, automatically preserves url to where a clipping came from). And the desktop app is great, syncing automatically with the web.
OTOH, the Evernote Android app is just a local front end for the web-based datastore. It doesn't maintain a local copy of any of your notes, so if you're in an area with no or poor connectivity, you can't see your notes. And because everything is stored in the cloud, opening the application and each note is a bit laggy.
Snaptic is definitely more "vanilla"; no ocr, single notebook, etc. The Android app syncs to the web, but it caches your notes locally, so you can always get instant access to the local copy. That's worth a lot to me.
