Missing features of Google Music

I noticed the other day that two features of Google Music have mysteriously gone missing:

1. The ability to delete the Free Songs all at once (even the help documentation describe how it used to be done).

2. The ability to add songs to Instant Mixes. Now you can only delete songs from Instant Mixes. This limits the usefulness of the Instant mix because I usually get rid of a quarter of the songs and add
back in that many.

I tried it on the desktop and the mobile app.

Frustrating.

Correction:

Adding songs to Instant Mixes seems to work on my Xoom version of the mobile app, but not for the DInc.

Another feature that bites is playlist length. I believe you are limited to something like 1500 songs in a playlist. I know it seems like a lot, but I have a few playlists that go beyond this. Ex: This affects my snowboarding playlist which is quite eclectic to the point that only half the artists in it are represented...huge bummer. I enquired to Google staff about this and it doesn't sound as if this will be fixed soon.
