Amazon App Store wants me to update apps from the Android Market

I have both the Android Market and the Amazon App Store. I primarily got the Amazon App Store for the daily free app, but stopped using that after hearing how badly they treat developers and how the free app hurts developers more than it helps.

Anyway, I have all my Android Market apps updated, but Amazon App Store wants me to update some of those apps as well - apps that I got on the Market and NOT on Amazon. I know I can just ignore Amazon App Store, but it still irks me. Is there anyway to get rid of those notifications other than deleting the Amazon App Store itself? And if I do that, what happens to the few apps I have downloaded from there?

You can use the "Save for Later" button on the updates. It helps to reduce the number of notifications that you get. Amazon needs to allow us to uninstall/delete their apps.
