I am new to Android, having recently gotten a Rezound. I still use a Palm TX, mainly for a HanDBase database. On the Palm, I use an app called Word Complete which gives a list of words to select from after typing a few letters. It allows the addition of words as well.

Is there anything like this for Android? I would like to eliminate my need for the Palm, and that type of app will help immensely.

Another good option is SlideIt. First it is easier to type (one continuous motion per word rather than picking leters). Second, you can teach it new words and even shortcuts. For example, you type 'tb' and it writes 'To be or not to be this is the question".
