app or plugin that allow clicking a number and dial?

is there an app or plugin that'll allow me to click on a number in say a text file, or mpe tasks and just click it and it dials? I had a number stored in one of my tasks and was hoping I could just click it and dial it; so I had to select, copy and darn, i couldn't even paste it onto my phone's dial pad - there was no such option (sorry, i came from windows mobile 6.5 phone and i was able to easily paste a number onto the dial pad)
