Report: App advertisements account for 75% battery drain

sigh ... well, this partially explains why my phone lasts maybe 8-10 hours, tops time to start killing off unused/unnecessary apps. :(

Granted, most app ads probably don't fire off unless you're actively running the app - but with all the cruft I've recently found running persistenly on my phone, who knows :-!

Ads also account for memory leaks, at least in Words with Friends. With Ads, the memory requirements for WWF would jump from 40M to 160M (requiring a task kill). Without Ads, memory requirements hover in the 40M-60M range, no kills.
