I've used Google Music for awhile now, and I really liked it until I noticed my available SD card space being eaten up. I used the Disk Usage app to see what was eating at my SD card and I noticed that Google Music had about 1GB in cache. I got on root explorer and looked and I noticed that it had downloaded every song I had listened to onto my SD card and saved the titles as random numbers. Is there a way to stop this?

Go into the settings of Google music and uncheck the "cache music" option. That will do it

My gripe right now with google music is getting all the music there.

I have right now 2,400 songs being uploaded. So far, 8hrs a day for 4 days, its at about 1,700.

Is is my ISP? or it is really that a pain in the *** to get up there??

I'm dreading on uploading my wife's collection of 6,000+.

    Any pointers out there?

Haha well it could be you ISP I doubt it. It took about 10 days for me to upload about 6000 songs, that was some time ago though.
