Can you organize your image galleries?

Can you really not organize your photos from within the gallery app? Do I really have to use a file manager to organize my photos into different sections/albums?

Yeah, right now you can do it on the PC and drag it over to the SD card. Doubletwist is awful with photos. I ended up using irfranview to resize/lower bit depth to make the images smaller using a batch operation, then dragged them all over. not pretty, but it works.

try "Ctrl Folder" - it let's you organize pictures into folders right from inside Gallery.

I find this to be very annoying also. I even tried reorganizing them by plugging the sd card to computer but it still shows up however it wants in different order.

Has anyone tried this on the EVO? I could add items to folders just fine.. but couldn't get the Gallery app to see the folders...

I believe the EVO's gallery was a 'new version' for Sense so perhaps it's not compatible. Either that or it's just not intuitive enough for me to figure out without proper documentation.
