Are there any apps similar to or that mimic the windows setup? I have always had windows based cell phones and dont like that I can't or at least have not found how to seperate things into their own folders. i.e......i can't find how to get my "camera shots" & "all photos" which are under the "Albums" icon from there into any other folder or document.
Each time I try and ask or explain what i want to someone, they reply with......Oh, so you want to hide some of your pics! "No, i am not looking to hide any of them, simply arrange them by category into separate folders just like on Windows 7 or any other document/folder setup!
PLZ HELP, thanks,

Best I can tell, unless you get something like Astro file manager from the market (highly recommended), the stock Album app is designed to work mostly between the camera and Your Picasa account on Google.

Although it will browse the entire MicroSD card for photos, it really does not let you move them other than to your Picasa album on the web.

With Astro File manage you can create a folder (My Pictures, say) and use Astro's quirky Select Multiple function while looking at the DCIM/Camera folder, use Edit-Move, and then navigate to your new "My Pictures" folder and paste the pictures in there.

I'm not sure if there is a preferred place/structure to create directories for Photo albums.
I must made a My Pictures directory. The phone gets real busy indexing and creating thumbnails when you do this.

Its MUCH easier to cable it up to your computer and use it like a hard drive, dragging and dropping pictures into organized folder structures.

The whole thing is pretty raw in this version.
