Do you have Automatic Brightness enabled? If not, go into Display Settings >> Brightness and check Automatic Brightness. This makes it so the brightness will change depending on how bright it is outside. When I am inside it's less bright, and, if I walk out into the sunlight, it ups my brightness so I can see easier.

try "Screen Filter"

It works well & is free.

But is there anything I can have on an auto.schedule? Turn brightness down to 10% at 10pm for.instance
