FoxFi for Sprint Evo 4G

I feel totally lost and need help! I have a Sprint HTC Evo 4G and am paying about $30/month to be able to use it as a hotspot for an iPad, laptop, Nook, and whatever other device. I heard about FoxFi, but when I try to download it, I get a message saying the item isn't available by my carrier. I also tried to download PdaNet, but my phone is not recognized. Does anyone know a way around this?

*Sprint has removed FoxFi from Play Store. Sprint users must install/upgrade FoxFi from FoxFi Installer instead.

in addition to being blocked from the Play Store - i believe that Sprint and maybe other carriers have blocked the use of this App. it does not work on my Sprint G-Nex.

it may be a sprint thing as I have the app and have it on a droidx with Verizon and it runs my tablet. I was in a Verizon store today looking at a Samsung galaxy 111 and fox I was on the demo phone

FoxFi in wifi mode on the HTC evo 4G might fail so you can try bluetooth dun, that works on the evo.
