I was downloading a couple remote desktop apps and all of a sudden I see this "Apps store" icon on my screen. I didn't download this. I can't even see it on my app drawer or under apps in settings. How did I get this? What's the correct way to remove it? Thanks

IMO -

1. run a scan with Lookout just in case.
2. scour your Settings-->Apps-->Downloaded List and look for it then delete. if you had Lookout installed it keeps a history of the latest apps installed in chronological order which should make it easier to find the name of the App to uninstall.

It might be a shortcut to an app store promoted by one of the remote desktop apps you downloaded. Try removing the shortcut.

I did a scan with lookout and didnt find malware, so I decided to click on it and it tried opening a webpage but I stopped it before it can load. So seemed like it was a shortcut to a site. I just took it off the desktop since it wasn't coming up as an app I could uninstall
