I like to keep my inbox empty, so I move all email to specific folders with the "Move" function on the the desktop client. But I don't see this option on the Android version for my phone. Am I missing it somewhere?

when veiwing your inbox, long press on an email and a menu will pop up. Choose "change labels" and a list will pop up. Just check the box and your done.

So, labels are the same as folders? In the web client, there is a move to folder process and a separate label process. I suppose I have to uncheck the "Inbox" label, then check the label for the folder. That is not very intuitive, but thanks for pointing that out!!
