HTC Connect and Pioneer Stereo Reciever

Hey guys,

I have a HTC Nexus S phone from T-Mobile with Firmware version 2.35.531.2 710RD

I recently picked up a new Pioneer stereo receiver. Pioneer recently announced a firmware update to be able to use HTC Connect in order to stream directly from the phone, in addition to more controls than the Pioneer Control App.

I updated the firmware on the receiver in accordance with Pioneer's guidelines

All went as planned, firmware took properly.

Made sure everything on my phone is updated properly as well. Recommended firmware version matches that specified by Pioneer.

The problem: I still can't get my phone to connect to the receiver. My computer connects to it over the network, and the control app on the phone works as it should as well.

It may be that I've just not found out how to connect them properly. I've tried finding it as a "Media Link HD", and also in the HTC Music App as a "Media Server"

Has any one had any experience using this app/AV Receiver? Any suggestions on setting up my phone to connect?
