bTunes is the best for me.

Just wish it had a bigger widget.

It's a shame that the Android OS is so far behind other platforms when it comes to sound handling and processing. At least one developer complaining recently about the lack of Open SL/ES, and even offering to help Google implement it, received a response refusing his help but saying "We understand your frustration" and essentially saying check back once in a while but don't hold your breath.

I guess the best we can hope for would be that Gingerbread would offer improved sound processing, but I'm not holding my breath either.

Apple's iOS allows for multitrack hi quality sound recording. I sure wish Android did the same.

Does iSyncr let you play DRM itunes music on your Android device? Or is there a player that does?

I've synced my music using iTunes agent and it plays fine in the stock player; but, whenever I try to play it using the doubletwist app, it says "this file no longer exists."

    Any advice?

    Thinking about getting a DroidX,

Do any of these have a juke box or cover flow file management like the iPhone and new BB OS6? I really like being able to scroll through album covers rather than album names. Does the standard media player have a cover flow style system?

Has anyone managed to get Apple Lossless Files to play on a Droid? The program Andless was supposed to do it, but for me it only played FLACS, not Apple Lossless.

What music app would someone here recommend for listening to either internet radio or streaming music. I used AOR (Android Online Radio) for this, but after doing a hard reset on my droid I can no longer find the app on the market, so any recommendations?

I like Mortplayer because I like browsing music as file folders. When I download music, I download the whole album.

Has anyone here ever tried streaming music. Check out these two apps. The one I like is called Mecanto. Also, you can try HomePipe. Both of them allow you to stream your entire music collection from your pc to your Android phone. They both work well, however, Mecanto works better for me with playing my mp3s & Itunes podcasts. HomePipe is good for accessing all of your data files such as pdf, MS Office, videos, etc. directly from your pc onto your Android phone. The stipulation with these apps is that they only work via WIFI or 3G. Also, it takes a long time to copy your files to the "Cloud" if you have alot of files to upload, but, once they are uploaded, you are good to go. Both apps also autosync any changes to your folders that are made on your pc. Both apps are web-based so that if you want to access your data from another computer, you can do so. Lastly, they both have built in players, playlist setup, etc. Hope this helps someone.

Yes. I use Cubed (search marketplace for "Abrantes" and it will come up) and MixZing as my players, and they recognize all the music/playlists I sync with Doubletwist.
I couldn't find Cubed in the marketplace. The Developer should rename it!

iSyncr has a ratings widget that allows you to rate songs and it updates in your iTunes.

I am new to this forum and wonder if someone can help. I am looking for an Android application that can locate a person. I mean locate her physical location. Since she cannot talk, if she can wear a cell phone (say Android phone) and if I can call her to locate her or via other means. Thanks
