Although I loved BerryWeather on my BlackBerry because it was the best available, it had one HUGE flaw. It would give you current conditions and the anticipated high/low, as well as the general conditions for the day, (ie. Cloudy, sunny, rain, etc) it would not give you an actual forecast.

For example, it would not say: Mostly sunny this morning, with a high of 78. Showers will develop early this afternoon , becoming steady by 8 pm.

Obviously a forecast is much more informative than just saying "Rain Showers".

The app did have beautiful icons, graphics and animations though. The interface was also really attractive and easy to use. For now, I use Weatherbug Elite, bit it is about as ugly as they get!

    >> Why doesn't anybody develop a BerryWeather type app?

Very good question. Let me ask all the people that did not develop a BerryWeather type app and I will come back to you with the results.

Anybody ever find anything close to Berryweather for Android or talk to the dev about porting it?

The best I have been able to find is Palmary Weather. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to select a PWS (I'd like to use my own) but otherwise it's the closest I have found to BerryWeather.

BeWeather was fantastic on my Blackberry. So far it's been giving the same outstanding performance on my Atrix!
