Youtube app not starting

I've searched numerous fora for my issue with Youtube, but all I could find were issues pre-Android 2.1 or issues where an error message is displayed.

I've got a Galaxy S and after 3 weeks the Youtube app started to act strange:

If I tap on the widget I get a black screen and after 1-2 secs I automatically return to my home screen (of the phone), without any error message.

If I try to open a video through the browser, the same thing happens (home screen of Youtube site).

I already tried to clear all cache, history, forms etc. in the app settings of Youtube and of the browser, but nothing seems to help.

Only a hard reset solves the issue. Don't really want to hard reset my phone every two or three days of course...

The last app I've installed was Advanced Task Killer (ReChild), but I've never used it to kill Youtube. Before the last hard reset I uninstalled it, so it doesn't seem to be related to this issue.

I hope someone has a bright idea?

One remarkable detail I forgot to mention: at the same time youtube decides to stop working, I noticed that the IMEI and IMEI SV state the number as UNKNOWN.

Ok, I've done another hard reset...

After 16 hours the following issues occur:

-Youtube app not working (black screen, return to home page)
-GPS can't get a fix (Yes, I've tried the work around spl.google.com 7276)
-IMEI and IMEI SV state the number as UNKNOWN

The only non standard app installed is Facebook (for Android).
