So many floating apps out there -one could easily feel overwhelmed. I decided to keep only a few, and I posted my fav apps for future reference-for myself and others. I will not have time to continue this thread, but you are welcome to add to this list, if interested.

The app I developed called Music Player (Remix) has a floating "mini-player" that you can bring up by swiping up from the bottom of the screen within any other app. It gives you access to music controls, your current playlist (selecting & reordering songs), a list of all saved playlists, and your "faves" (songs/albums/artists you pin for one-touch access within the app) all without having to leave the app you're currently in.
