I'm looking for an app that works like Google Sky but is used in conjunction with the cell phone camera. The idea is that the astronomical maps and information would be overlaid on the camera image. So, you point your phone at, say, the moon. The Google sky image of the moon would line up with it and identify that what you are looking at is the moon.

Wow, I don't think that exists. It would require a very sensible camera to detect the stars etc.

I just look over the screen.

you are probably right, but there are so many apps out there that I figured it was worth asking!
