    I updated my Twitter app when it was updated a week or so ago (I'm using the official Twitter app), and ever since then the widget has not been updating automatically. I have to go in to the actual app and hit the refresh button for it to update.

    I went to Settings -> Accounts & Sync, and selected Twitter. The first sync option has an exclamation point next to it and it says at the bottom that "Sync is not working at this time." It's been like this for over a week. Does anyone have any information on when it will be fixed?

    Log out and log back in. Problem fixed. Stupid, I know... but this is the current work around for the bug. You should only have to do it once and it should work from there on out - even after reboots.

    9 out of 10 times when a Twitter app is not working it's a Twitter issue and NOT an issue with your app.

    This is an issue with the app... not Twitter itself. The bug is in their latest update.
