Bought a phone for my secretary who lives in Mexico. Her roaming is set to ask but apparently it's going and syncing cause I got a $150 data roaming fee. She might also be using it even though she's not supposed ty dioo...

Is there an App that will kill all roaming? In the settings, I can't find anything to completely disable it, the best you get is for it to ask you. Anyway to stop all data roaming and international roaming?

    Thanks.

At least on the HTC incredible you can turn off data roaming with Android 2.2. (and I believe Android 2.1)

    Go to:

Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile networks (Set options for roaming, networks) > uncheck "Data roaming".

I don't know if the Samsung moment has this buried under it's settings, but it's worth a look.

You may also want to turn off Mobile Network and Enable always-on mobile data, just to be sure. This way the phone will be unable to send or recieve any data. Setting Network Mode to GSM only may be an idea too.
