As of now I'm still using the default Android Browser. I might consider Dolphin browser in the future.

I might consider Dolphin, but want to hold out for a while because honestly i have no complaints regarding the default browser.

I couldn't get the pinch and zoom feature to work, therefore it wasn't worth having two browsers loaded...

I've heard that dolphfin enables the multi touch, but i'm good with the default browser. It's simple and does exactly what i need it to.

I've been using Dolphin exclusively since it became available, and have installed the update for it as well. The pinch to zoom feature makes all the difference for me.

Dolphin... tabbed browsing, gestures, pinch zoom, and it's faster than the default browser. What's not to like

And the new skin that just came in looks nice. Indeed, what's not to like?

I use them both, but use the default the most. The images don't look as crisp when zoomed in on the Dolphin browser. I might be wrong, since I probably zoom in further using the pinch zoom, but that's just my perception.

I just feel like most of the time I'm surfing the internwebs, I'm only using one hand. Thereofre, touble-tap works great. I've always felt that pinch-to-zoom is a great feature to show off to firends, but not extremely practical. Unless you really need to zoom in on something quickly and precisely, i feel that double tap is very effective at rendering the page where i want it

What about Fennec Alpha 2 for Windows Mobile release notes? Can't wait for that to release.

im on the fence right now. made dolphin the default when it came out with the multitouch. It does have some cool features but overall I think I prefer the stock browser. If it only had the pinch and zoom.

    I agree.

I did have Dolphin for a while but it just did not feel right. Have not tried itit since the new dolphin update but the default browser and a simple tap work for me.

I'm using the defualt browser thought dolphin is good its just to inconsistent and I've always had issues with its pinch to zoom. As far as speed I see no difference so ill stick with the stock browser then wait for multi touch

Using the Dolphin browser. Only complaint is that it won't find my location on the Google home page. The pinch feature more than offsets this inconvenience.

Dolphin. It's not even close. It's faster, it has more features, and it gives more screen room. No contest.

That said, however, on a mobile device, the use of the browser is limited at the moment. Everything has an 'app.' Google Maps is an 'app', Facebook has an app, Twitter has an app, even Amazon.com has an app. There's an app for damn nearly everything you want to do on the mobile web.

Dolphin. It seems that, and perhaps this is just for the Moto Droid, the only difference anyone mentions is the pinch to zoom. This isn't the deal breaker for me. I like the gestures and the ability to customize them, as well as the tabbed browsing. The gestures "menu" - when you press and hold the screen - will also let you zoom in or out that way so you don't have to use both hands. It's not perfect, but it's ability to be customized is what won me over.

default for me, I tried Dolphin for a few days and it didn't do anything that I could not do with the default one.

Granted I do not use the internet on my phone for much more than weather checking and sports scores.

I really haven't found a need to stray away from the default. I find that the double tab works pretty well and don't envy having a pinch to zoom.
