The voice that comes with Google Navigation is a bit boring, and very robotic. Are there any other voices available?

Any 3rd party apps to integrate with Google Navigation?

Only two options in "text-to-speech" languages settings are "American English" and "Spanish" ... are there any additional language packs avaiable for installing or sideloading?

So I found SVOX's Classic TTS Engine in the Market. But unfortunately for me, my Samsung Fascinate is still on eclair and all android versions prior to froyo needs TTS Extended for SVOX's options to take effect and TTS Extended does not work on Google Navigation. So I will have to wait for the froyo upgrade on Fascinate.

I use this one Loquendo TTS Susan - Android app on AppBrain Sounds much smoother, easy to install. Works all around android not just Google Navigation, but also other apps like Handcent SMS.

Both Loquendo TTS and SVOX Classic TTS are quite an improvement over Pico TTS..

In my experience, Loquendo's voice was really good in the samples but it was very choppy for some reason with Google Maps Navigation. I ended up choosing SVOX for that reason.
