Firefox Default Options

I recently downloaded the latest build of Firefox, about 3 days ago. After installing, when I first went to my stock browser and clicked on a link, a pop-up came up, asking to "Complete Action Using," with choices for Browser and FireFox. I hit the default checkbox, and chose Browser, since I'd still prefer the stock browser to be my default application. The problem is, that every time I do something in my browser, it still brings up this "Complete Action Using" selection. No matter how many times I set it as default. This is getting quite frustrating, and I'm to the point where I might just have to uninstall FireFox. Just figured I'd put this out there, in hopes of finding a solution first. Any info you can provide, I'd greatly appreciate.
