Stock music app Edit Tags?

How do you edit music tags in the stock music app? I have quite a few unknown artists and I would like to make sure the songs are grouped properly.

There's an app on the market called "mp3tagger". Try that. The stock music player itself can't edit ID3 tags.
I will say that, obviously, it only works on MP3s. If you're having problems because of some AAC files, well... good luck. I don't know how I solved that problem myself with that one Pearl Jam album of mine.

Ok so is there a way to edit the apps on the phone via non stock app's? Would prefer a free app that I can use. I see a bunch of them here but not sure which one is best. They must be able to edit WMA files.

PowerAMP is an amazing music player and can edit tags. I haven't confirmed that it can do WMA files but worth a checking out.

Isn't the issue that since froyo the WMA tags can't be read? So editing may not be useful.
