Google Drive and Auto back up...

So I've been a huge Dropbox person for a long time, but I'm sick of paying for it and since everything else I use is Google related and soon to have N6, I want to convert over to Google Drive.

My question is, Does Google Drive have a Auto back up feature? Mainly for photos is what I'm looking for, I want to be able to take a picture and when I connect to Wifi, I want it to automatically back up my recently taken photos.

How can I do this or in this not a feature?

In short, yes.

You need to enable it, and choose between full resolution or scaled down. Scaled down will store all your pictures and NOT count against your Drive quota, full resolution counts against your quota. I definitely want full resolution, but I don't use Google + anymore. Do I need it?

It looks like even with Google plus enabled, it doesn't show up in my drive...

The backed up photos don't show in Drive, they're in your G+ account.

I assume I would just have to move them to drive myself then correct? I feel like this should be an option. Any clue if this will be a future feature?

I think some of the intent is that the images are easily available to share on G+. I don't see any way to move them to Drive without first downloading them then re uploading them.
