I have used springpad in the past but not on a regular basis. Since I rarely accessed it I did not know the company had shut down. I was forced to restore my phone but had backed up all contents on the phone to my computer prior to restoring.

Is the data from springpad accessible through files or do you need the app to view, therefore the data is lost?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have? So it sounds like you had to do a factory reset, and when you did, you were unable to reinstall SpringPad, correct? The only thing I can suggest at this time is to use a file manager app and look through all of the folders that are accessible to you in Internal Storage, and see if there are any remnants related to Springpad.
