Vlingo Safereader not reading emails

Vlingo Safereader not reading emails when screen has timed out. It does wake the screen and read incoming texts, but if the screen has timed out, I just get the regular email notification alert and safereader doesn't work until I have 'awakened' my screen

You forgot to mention what phone you have because I have an Evo and I use safe reader all the time and my screen doesn't wake at all...it works with the screen on or off.

I say check your settings or uninstall and reinstall.

I have this same problem sometimes. I thought it was an issue with handcent pop-ups (worked fine when I turned them off).

seems better now, didn't change anything, though
