I have a micro SD card in my phone, and I made a folder on it, in which are stored some images. Whenever I try to view that folder of images on my gallery app, or on a third-party alternative to the gallery app, some of the thumbnails load, some remain unloaded, and then, after a few seconds, the app closes itself down and the phone returns to the home screen. I've tried restarting the phone, unmounting/remounting the SD card, clearing the data from the gallery and media storage, but nothing is helping. No matter what I do, that folder of 45 images always crashes my gallery app. Does anyone know why, or of anyway to fix this?

To summarize: There's a folder of photos on my SD card put there on my PC that I'm trying to view on my phone, but I can't because whenever I open that album in the gallery, the app closes after a few seconds.

Put the card into a card reader, plug it into a PC and run chkdsk on it. See Using chkdsk to fix a corrupted SD card.
