I want to use Outlook for my work email, but I don't know how to setup Outlook, because it asks for smtp parameters. Can you help me? Thought it had a pop3 option.

Those server parameters need to be given by your e-mail provider. The SMTP server is your outgoing e-mail server, and again, the server name and specific configuration depends on your provider.

most of the time its smtp.whateveryouremailiscalled.com, but some companies use webmail.whateveryouremailiscalled.com or substitute a number IP instead of a server name. It REALLY depends on your e-mail provider. And not only that, you need the server name and port numbers if they're not standard, if you need a special security protocol, if you need a different login for sending e-mail, etc.
