Hello guys!

Last semester, a group of us University of North Texas students created a privacy awareness application for our software development class.

The purpose of this app is to bring to light the kind of information and access an app can have with permissions that everyone seems to skip over. This is our first app and first time with java development. Please let me know what you think!

Store Description:

Peeper is a privacy awareness application made by University of North Texas students. Peeper sheds light on the kind of information you leave vulnerable when you agree to the terms of service and permissions of an application.
In an age where users agree to lengthy terms of service and install applications blindly, it's important to know that not every company or app may be very truthful to what it's doing with those permissions.
This app is meant to help shine some light on the possibilities that you might never have known existed. What COULD an app be doing with your data in the background, without you knowing?
By simply launching this app and pressing a button, you'll get a personalized report about the private information that an app could get on you.
Some of this information includes:
-Live photos/recordings
-Account information
-Texts
-Phone Calls
-Street Address
-Contacts
-And more
This report pulls up a sample of your information to show you what kind of information you're leaking, but could just as easily pull up every bit of information in each category. Such as every text, call, contact, etc.
You can send the report to an email address, or keep locally within the app, your choice!

If you encounter any bugs or problems, or have any suggestions, please contact us! Thank you!
