I have multiple Gmail accounts. I want to login only in gmail and not in all the apps of the device like phonebook, maps, play store etc.
When I login in gmail from different accounts, account is created in the main settings and reflects on all the apps in android. It creates confusion and mess due to duplicacy and no knowledge that to which specific account is the data being saved on. My data is scattered over the 4 different accounts.

Welcome to Android Central! The way that I can think of would be to use the stock Email app to access those other Gmail accounts. If you want to access them using the Gmail app, then I think those Google accounts will be accessible by all apps.

Go to settings > accounts > choose your account and go UN-sync all the things you don't want signed into. Do the same for each account you need too.
