    Hello,
I can't find a definitive answer to this question anywhere online. Decided to ask it here. Thanks in advance for the help!

For a report that my company is working on, we need to conduct a city-wide survey in a few weeks. For this survey, we will be employing 50 surveyors who will each be given a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. (50 surveyors, 50 tablets)
On each of these 50 tabs, they will be required to operate 6 different apps (each app performing a different function) to enter survey data, collect information, upload pictures, record travel route, etc.

None of these apps have been installed on any of the tabs.

To get the tabs ready to use for the survey, I will need to install each of these 6 apps on all 50 tabs. The only way I know how to do this is installing the 6 apps individually on each of the tabs, one by one. My method looks very inefficient, and this task will take a considerable amount of time.

Is there a faster way to download all the apps on all of the devices?

PS: I have never used/operated any of the tabs before.
(I have only used one of them to test the functionality of the apps)

    Thank you very much!

Welcome to Android Central! These apps aren't being installed from Google Play, are they? If they were, you could have all 50 devices on the same Google account, then remotely send an Install command for each app to each device, from the Google Play Store app page on your computer browser.

This also sounds like something that Google Apps for Work might be useful for, but I don't have any direct experience with it.

    Thanks for the reply, BD.

    I tried what you said.

I logged in to every tab's Play store account with the same ID. >> I opened Google Play on my laptop web browser. >> Selected one of the 6 apps to be downloaded >> It then asked me which device I want to install the app on .

Problem is; every tab shows up on the list under the exact same name, and I can't differentiate between different tabs. I tried, but I cannot change the name of any of the tabs.

    What do I do now?

    Thank you for the help!

Go to the Google Play Store on the web, click the gear button at the upper right, the Settings. There, you can rename a device by clicking the Edit button at the right. You should be able to give all 50 devices a different name, to more easily distinguish them.
