The Android Central app?

i have a Samsung Fascinate and i can not find the App. I downloaded it a few days ago. I seen that it says it is not an App but a widget but i still can not find it. My phone is still stock besides a couple apps, if i need another app to run widgets please explain.

And is it worth to root my phone this is my first android phone but very interested in learning more about it.

Edit: What exactly you need the app to do for you? I can't seem to find it. There is however a tap and talk app.

The app provided me with some headaches once i got it installed, the widget seems to be working pretty good for me at the moment.

find an empty spot on the home screen, long press on it, a popup will display, select Android widgets, the first one should be android central....if its not there go to the market, unistall it and redownload it
