What do you think about the mazon Underground?

I wonder how Amazon plans to make money on Amazon Underground. I read somewhere it may be by inserting ads into our apps in the future. If then, something like that maybe impact user experience. Do you think so? :'(

And it seems that more permissions required for apps for Amazon Underground than those for common Amazon Appstore or Play Store. So I think, the amazon underground maybe is not fit to those clean utility apps, which need not any permissions at all. Is it right?

I think Amazon is trying to consolidate their shopping app with their Appstore. In doing so, they hope to force any Android user who wants the free Amazon apps to also have the main Amazon shopping app on their device, which increases the chance of buying something from them.

I'm not sure I like the direction Amazon's going here. Their app selection has been subpar for a while (how many hidden objects games can there be?), and although I do shop on Amazon, I don't need their app on my phone to do that.
