    I use the Google Wallet card as my main physical card. Each Friday, I transfer over a certain amount of money from my connected bank account. This gives me a nice way to control my budget and keep my actual debit card away from potential hackers. My usual Friday transfer today has been "pending" for hours when it's usually instantaneous and the follow-up email from Google reads a bit differently:

    "It may take several days for your bank account to be debited. For security reasons, this money will not be available until the transaction is reviewed and processed. Expected availability date is Oct 8, 2015."

    OCTOBER EIGHTH!

    The usual email from Google reads:

    "This money will be available in a few minutes. It may take several days for your bank account to be debited."

    In the meantime, the app is virtually useless. I've tried sending money to my wife from my bank account (no fees) and get a "Something went wrong" error.

    Geez... What has Google done this time?
