I've looked around for an answer, but no luck. I'm trying to remove an app I have uninstalled, however it still says it's in the All section when I go to Manage applications on my Droid 1. The app in question is called News and Weather which is so generic I can't find it again in the Market. Help?

Unfortunately, that's a stock application that only can be "Force Stop" but not uninstall.

(Btw) Welcome to the forum. (Ps. You will find it on your Apps page.)

Yep. Each smartphone comes with pre-installed apps (also known as bloatware) that you can only temporarily disable, but not uninstall. Skype is another one.

You need to root device than use titanium backup and delete the app.
I deleted that app from my nexus one since I never use it at all.
