I just started lately playing around with the MIT app inventor 2.
Can i please ask you for help, with a problem i am having now? I'v already spent hours with no success and made so many Google search queries to no avail, trying to solve this problem..
What i'm trying to do, is to make my phone send text to an Arduino BT HC-06 dongle - But to do that only when a certain file is read from distance by an FTP client to an FTP server which is installed on that same phone - and not by UI push buttons.
But, i don't seem to understand how to do this..
Although i'v managed quite easily to understand from the tutorial , how to send texts to the Arduino, when pushing UI buttons - When i got to the task of making the phone do this NOT by UI push button, but by triggering an event, when a file is opened or saved from distance by the FTP client - I couldn't find the right blocks combination dealing with file event and had a big problem with the file path issue.
Can you please try to help me solve this problem? Do you know any good tutorial or explanation page for such an issue?
