Is there an SMS that allows you to select and copy text out of a message. Most apps let you copy the entire message but not portions of it. I know I used to be able to do it with older phones/Android versions. But with Android 5 and now 6, it seems none of the SMS apps I tried allow this so I wonder if it's an issue with Android. I have a Moto XPE with 6.0 and have tried the stock SMS app, Google Messenger, Textra, QKSMS and a couple of others but none let you select and copy text out of a message other than copying the entire message. Any suggestions?

Copy the whole message, paste it where you want and then delete what you don't want.

Sometimes the solutions are quite simple you just need to think simply.
