I am getting a Nexus 5X soon, and I believe it comes with a USB c to USB c cable. I'm not getting a USB c to a cable at the moment so is there any app that can wirelessly transfer files to a PC through the wifi network? I can use the USB in my router to do that but don't want to be plugging in a pendrive all the time, would like to transfer directly.

    Please let me know.

    Thanks

Yes, many file managers offer network access. I use X-plore but there are many alternatives on Play Store

Any way to transfer directly to a PC? Using Windows 10 if it helps.
